Hasselblad Lumber Sales specializes in Oregon White Oak (Quercus garryana).
Grades & Applications
Oregon White Oak is primarily graded as rough green lumber. The National Hardwood Lumber Association Grades for boxed heart timbers and plank serve as our basic grade guideline. We also grade for industrial blocking or for special-use grades.
We currently supply Oregon White Oak in dimensions up to 12″ x 14″ x 16′, subject to log availability.
Oregon White Oak is a strong, closed-cell hardwood and is naturally resistant to rot or decay. This, combined with its High Stress Ratings, make it a good option to less dense hardwoods from other U.S. regions. It also is an affordable alternative to high-priced apitong or other exotic hardwoods.
We actively look for unique and specialty orders and can provide shipment to any point in the U.S. or Canada as well as export markets.
